When Betty Adel was nine years old she received a mustang colt for Christmas. This was her first love. They grew up together and the love became mutual.

Betty and her sister Drena and Nancy and friends rode their ponies over the desert and canyons of Owyhee County, Idaho. At five both girls were singing in their parents western and Latin band.

At sixteen Betty started out on her own, traveling from Hawaii to Nashville, performing at rodeos, state fairs, for politicians including then Governor Ronald Regan.

She opened performances for Mil Tillis, Barbara Mandrel, Reba McEntire, Pat Boon family, Estis and others. All origionals, written by Betty Adel and Helen Nanney, Betty's songs on this CD reflect her love for the trails she rode on her horse, and her love for God, our country and people.
