BANDS
Born in Kettering, Bob began playing in bands in the late 70s, when he co-formed Dibjak, a multifaceted New Age folkband who played at every kind of event from Free Festivals to Vicar's tea parties and karate demonstrations. With the sad demise of Dib-jak in 1987 Bob joined Whiteleaved Oak, a locally famous folk rock band based in Malvern. At the same time he started playing and writing music for Circle Dance.

CIRCLE DANCE in its early days drew mainly on the dance and music traditions of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, but as it evolved it became more eclectic and universal, embracing modern choreography and a wide range of music. Bob has become well known internationally for his self-created music and dances. He has played and recorded with many Circle Dance bands inluding Parampara, Musaic and Rasalila.

CDs
Bob's focus is nature-inspired music, richly textured and evocative in mood. He plays all the instruments himself with some imput from other musicians, and produces the albums. His more recent albums have included songs and a capella harmonies. He now has his own miniature recording studio in his West Wales caravan.
