Details:
Chester was born in Charleston WV. There he started as a bass player for local rock bands among which was Turley Richards and later as bass player and artist for the Buddy Starcher Show which was a local morning country TV show. He then started his own band working in clubs and started writing his own songs. In 1975 he moved to Nashville to be a full time songwriter. There he signed with House of Gold Music and later with Warner Chappell Music until 1992 when he started Chester Lester Music.
He has had cuts by Waylon Jennings, Razzy Bailey, Tammy Wynette, Willie Nelson, Dean Martin and more.Some of the songs on this cd have been recorded by Waylon and Willie as well as Tammy.
He is currently producing acts for the overseas market as well as doing his own recording as an artist for the same market.
