Biography
DKUN FROST (Pronounced "DEACON") has been in the rap game since 1989. Raised by his Grandmother to escape physical abuse and neglect, DKUN found out early that music was an escape for him, and a perfect way to express his feelings. His family moved to Springfield, MA in 1984 to escape the perils of the city. It was then that DKUN began to listen to the likes of RUN-DMC, LL COOL J, Doug E. Fresh and other rap artists that would influence him and his desire to rap.

In 1988, DKUN purchased Boogie Down Production's "By Any Means Necessary", and the record "My Philosophy" sparked the beginning of his rap era. He desired to write rhymes of influence and power, not to be common with senseless messages being played on the radio.

Entangled in a party lifestyle, DKUN FROST gave his life over to God in 1991. His reception in the church was mixed, as many church leaders vehemently opposed him rapping for God at all. DKUN stopped rapping for years, but in 1996 began attending a new church where they encouraged him to use his gift to the glory of God. He has been writing and performing ever since.

DKUN FROST's message is powerful and confrontational, challenging all those who listen, Christian and Non-Christians, to self-evaluate their condition and make a change, now. He takes personal the misleading and misrepresenting that has plagued the church for years. He burdens himself with the responsibility of uniting the body of Christ through the full, complete and exact knowledge of God, regardless of race, tradition, or denomination.
