She has written articles for several newspapers. D graduated from University of Louisiana Monroe, receiving a BBA, and also graduated from Southwestern Paralegal Institute, and attended South Houston Bible Institute. Received her minister's license through WomenNPower International Ministries Network and FulGospel Bible College Seminary in 2006.
