Details:
The Easter Bloodhounds were a power duo. Formed by Jon Christopher on guitar and vocals, and Jon Somers on drums. The band have been playing loud and heavy noise rock, in and around Boston since 2004. With a wide range of influences including Sonic Youth, Melvins, early Flaming Lips, Fugazi, Godflesh, Sex Pistols, and many more. This self titled CD represents the best songs the band came up with over the past few years. Includes recorded versions of live favorites such as Pig, This Pipe Dream, Angels & Devils, and Disconnected.
Beautifully engineered, produced and mixed by Glenn Smith at The G-Spot Recording Studio, and mastered by Nick Zampiello at New Alliance East.
In mid 2006, the Easter Bloodhounds added a third member, bass player Aarne Victorine, who also plays in the mighty band, Presley.
The Easter Bloodhounds are now a power trio! They continue to play in and around the Boston area. please check them out if you can!
