Details:
Kervan Seales aka Everbless hails from Trinidad, West Indies. A self described "music junkie" says that "music has touched my life since the day I could hear and speak". His fascination with the eclectic sounds of Bob Marley, Jimmy Hendrix, Wu, Jay-z, DMX, LL, Pac and Nas coupled with his passion for communication fueled his desire to use the stage as a platform to share his message.
Everbless, influenced by his Caribbean culture was an avid soccer player and soca fan. His older brother was a local soca artist and Everbless' mission was to walk in his foot steps, until one day a friend gaved him Jay-z's "Hard Knock Life" and he knew then that he had found his calling, he took a Wu beat and created a song and as he puts it "I knew where I belonged".
In 1999 his family migrated to New York and he formed a musical group to record a soca album, but while in the studio the producer played a rap beat which brought back the feeling he had while recreating the Wu record many years ago. Everbless decided then to fused his love for Caribbean sound with hip hop music.
Thanks to an openly commercial hybrid of reggae and hip hop, Everbless has cleverly fused the genre to horn his unique sound. In July 2006, he debuted with the single entitled "Why" - a blend of soulful sound and positive lyrics.
