Some say they are the same person, while others say they just don't belong. And as the world falls apart around them, no one knows that they are our only hope. ***************************************************************** Oceans above is a mixture of Hard Rock, Alternative Rock, and Classic Rock. Our Album is not only a collection of songs, but the back drop of an on going story. Each song stands alone and can be deciphered into events of today. But for those who like to dive into the deep end, we created an overall arching mythology that will follow every song and every album we do. How exactly we relay this story will develop over time with pictures, videos, and maybe a comic book. ***************************************************************** Formed in the spring of 2004, Oceans above is fronted by Scott Blowers (vocals/harp). With a soulful improv style Scott adds many dimensions to his own songs as well as the rest of the bands tunes. The well balanced dual guitar attack, never doing too much or too little, is brought to you by Aaron G & Rich Varick. On bass is our true song writer of the band, and one of the smoothest players youâll ever hear, Matt Sewald. And finally, with his hard pounding drum style, Mike Munn adds just the right attitude to the rhythm section. Our live show is where we shine. This is where we are able to play our favorite songs from the record, play some covers, and throw out some blues jams.
