My name is Perry Murdock. I am the lead singer and guitarist in Perrydog and the Rez Catz. I am of Piute and Shoshone decent. I have played professionally since I was about 17 years old. I have played in night clubs and shows for many bands and on the same stage with famous artists.
I have decided to perform my own music, in my own way and style. It is an original type of rock and country that has a very native sound and beat. This music is closest to my heart and it expresses my life on the reservation and the trials and tribulations that we all face day to day.
On the Rez, people refer to me as Indian Elvis, and always request that I sing Elvis songs for them. On the road I get many requests for Elvis songs. The latter part of this cd is a tribute to Elvis.
