Sondra began writing during lulls in high school lessons. She briefly considered an acting career, but held to her long-term desire to teach and use dramatics to enliven high school English classes. She often heard "You should be an actress" from her students. She did not succumb to that fabulous profession. Instead, she became a writer. (That's better?!) Her first published novel, RICH, NEVER MARRIED, RICH (Authorhouse) was inspired by Jane Austen's PRIDE & PREJUDICE. Her latest, BACK FROM BORA BORA (Llumina Press) was the inspiration for this album for romantics. The songs are those the characters would probably sing. Sondra and Carolyn communicate the characters' varied emotional states in this upbeat album of
classic love songs.

Carolyn began her singing career as as little mustard flower in a grade-school musical In high school she sang in the chorus and Melody Singers and starred in the school's production of PAJAMA GAME. Her stage persona changed again when she attended New York University. She majored in math, but minored in music and sang a variety of roles, including that of the High Priestess in Verdi's AIDA. She became a teacher, but missed the music scene, and at the urging of her opera-loving Uncle Albert she squeezed in time for voice lessons. Not convinced that an opera career was what she wanted, she opted for the role of stay-at-home-mom. She has no regrets about making that decision. She spent whatever free time she had writing songs, both words and music. Over the years she has sung her own compositions in recitals. In 2004 she published a compilation of her lyrics and poems in a book titled POETRY IN MOTION.(X LIBRIS) It was her sister Sondra's idea to record an album with the theme of love to tie in with her latest book, BACK FROM BORA BORA.

Rio, also known as The Bishop of Jazz, has performed with many jazz legends and has appeared at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, The Newport Jazz Festival, and the JVC Jazz Festival, as well as worldwide. His career began with a BMI scholarship for musical theatre and subsequent studies at The Juilliard School of Music. A grant from Broadway Tomorrow for new composers followed. Along with his classical training, Rio has developed a style embracing a diversity of music that makes him one of the most expressive and versatile pianists anywhere.
