Repping Arizona, Sonny Long is a dynamic new artist and entrepreneur whose specialty is taking music as we know it to another level. By mixing Rap, R&B and Soul into his own unique style which he calls "Gumbo Music". His debut album The Resume due out later in 2007 is guaranteed to keep your attention with its dynamic production and Sonny's laid-back swagger. "My goal with this album is to bridge the generational gap" said Sonny. "Music was met to bring people together from all backgrounds and race". With The Resume and its "Gumbo" sound thats what it'll do bring people together! Also Sonnys been working on his freshmen mixtape "The Interview" hosted by The Peoples Choice DJ Envy who has put out hundreds of mix tapes from Jay-Z, 50 Cent to Lupe Fiasco says its a certified CLASSIC. Its more like a complete album then a mixtape!
In addition to being a talented musical artist, this young CEO of Sonny Long Enterprise, a promotional and entertainment company with an invested interest in the community. In 2005, Sonny launched a scholarship fund to encourage young men and women to further their education and created an Annual Youth Business Conference as a fun and informative way to show youth the importance of education and business ownership. Sonny has also started his on clothing line "Sonny Long Classic". A fashion line which like his music will cover all different styles from hip-hop gear to men and women business attire.
