SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU DOWN
SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU
NOW WE SEE
UNDERSTAND
STRANGE
EVERYONE
SUPERMAN
STRANGE
SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU DOWN
SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU
WAKE UP MAMA
GET OUTS YOUR BED
LOOK OUTS YOUR WINDOW
WHO COULD SEE THE REVOLUTION IN THIS MYSTERY
WOULD BE A FUNDAMENTAL CHANGE IN OUR HISTORY
WHEN THE WHOLE HUMAN RACE WOULD COME FACE TO FACE
WITH THE MAN FROM SPACE
SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU DOWN
SPACEMAN FROM PLUTO
GONNA MELT YOU DOWN
I cannot reveal my real name because of my fugitive status running from the United Nations. From 1997 to 2002 I was lead guitarist for a rock band in Oslo, Norway. After marrying I made the decision to leave the world of rock and roll and returned to UiO (University Of Oslo) where I completed an undergraduate degree in Physics and was pursuing a graduate degree specializing in virtual electromagnetism. As part of my studies I was selected to accompany the UiO research team deep inside the Arctic.
The expedition went routinely until November 19, 2006 upon which day we experienced an extraordinary deviation in the normal meteorological patterns. Our station was battered by winds in excess of 140 k.p.h, resulting in zero visibility. Simultaneously we were assaulted by an electromagnetic storm which produced a spectacular light show that penetrated the blizzard with an array of lightning flashes at wavelengths that none of us had ever observed before! Very exciting!
On November 20, 2006 - the second day of the storm - we were startled to receive a visit from a strange man who had wandered through the storm and miraculously found his way to our base. Though he was clearly disoriented by what we assumed was hypothermia, he was able to communicate to us that he was a Russian yak herder named Olaf who was assigned to the region as part of an experiment in the crossbreeding of yaks with musk oxen.
Olaf kept slipping in and out of a trance-like state - his unblinking eyes seemingly staring into nothing - he became unresponsive to our questions and eventually seemed to not even realize we were present. As he sat there he began rambling incoherently about an extraterrestrial encounter of some sort' about a spaceman from Pluto. After a time his ramblings developed a definite rhythm and then he began singing a haunting melody. It was at this point that I realized we might want to capture what was happening and I placed a microphone near him and recorded what he was saying and singing.
After only a few more minutes, , Olaf stood up and walked out of the station and back out into the blizzard and bizarre lightning. He was a large and powerfully built man and as we were Unable to restrain him, we donned our best artic gear and followed him out into the blizzard. It took about 3 hours to travel 2 kilometers where we were
astonished to find a totally unexplainable phenomena.
There in the midst of the raging blizzard was a perfect circle - approximately 300 meters in diameter - upon which shone the sun through a bright blue and cloudless sky. The ground within this circle was covered with a bluish-green vegetation completely unfamiliar to any of us on the team. In the center of the circle was Olaf's hut. Olaf lay sleeping just a few meters inside the edge of the circle. Only the yak remained awake, grazing contentedly, and The musk oxen were gone.
As our team excitedly debated the next course of action, all but I voted to venture within the circle to obtain samples of the plant life as well as to arouse Olaf. It was decided that I alone would remain outside the circle's perimeter to monitor the situation.
As the other members of the team ventured into the circle, all seemed to go well - initially. They quickly began removing their parkas and artic clothing as the air temperature inside the circle was 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit). However the expressions of scientific excitement on their faces were soon replaced with what I would term, a euphoric state, exhibiting no apparent fear, concern or confusion, Instead it looked as though a great peace was engulfing them as they simultaneously fell unconscious into the soft bed of vegetation beneath there feet.
Trying not to panic, I somehow made it back to North Base Tundra-3, packed what equipment I could quickly assemble and trekked for 2 days to North Base Tundra-6. Accompanied by the team from North Base Tundra-6 we headed back in search of Olaf's yak shack. However, although we searched for 5 days - joined by the Joint Scandinavian Arctic Rescue Team - no trace of my team members, Olaf, or the shack, or the yaks, or musk oxen were ever found.
After a 4 week "de-briefing" from a UN committee in Helsinki I was told I would be held for further interviews for an indefinite period of time. While being transferred to an undisclosed location across the Russian boarder, I was aided by accomplices I cannot identify in escaping to my present place of hiding.
Being able to discretely visit my home one time only since my escape the mystery deepened to unfathomable depths. For prior to being selected for the polar expedition, on the night of August 23, 2006 I awakened from a disturbing dream and composed the music - but not the words - for a rock song. The arrangement for the song seemed to just pour out of me with no effort. Imagine my shock and bewilderment when in January of 2007 I gathered some former band mates and we over dubbed the vocal recording of Olaf's trance utterances over my instrumental rock music to discover the words and music matched PERFECTLY!
There is much more to this story that cannot be told here. If I remain free from UN efforts to silence this message, more will be posted when I can.
Till then, as always, EVERYONE SUPERMAN.
