Formed in December 2005, -tion is a new blend of sludge rock mixed with mid-90's grunge. With their grinding and infectious songs, theyâve been compared to the talents of Alice in Chains, STP, Pink Floyd, and Black Sabbath. Add the vocal likes of Maria Sjoholm (Drain STH) and Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), and you've got a unique sound that has yet to be described even by its biggest fan. Hard and heavy, but not fast. Dark and gloomy, but not death. Sexy and scary. Inspired by a myriad of musical influences from Beethoven to Slayer, -tion is a refreshing change to the family of Rock and offers a different taste to please everyoneâs pallet.
