WHO ARE WE?

We are a professional and innovative children's music group, formed by three, talented dads who love music and children.

Our music has won honors in international contests and is being played by families and on radio stations all over the world.

Our goal is to create high-quality music that is fun and positive for children while, at the same time, gives parents musical performances and genres that they can enjoy as well.

Our show engages the whole family and combines crowd participation, props and hilarious antics with great tunes by our experienced, live band. It is designed for elementary school families and younger.

Our songs come from all genres of music, including jazz, bluegrass, reggae and rock-n-roll, just to name a few.

BIOGRAPHY

In 1999, urged by his wife and inspired by the hundreds of children that he taught at his business, Brian Waite sat down with his guitar and began writing children's music. By incorporating his knowledge of children's humor and interests, along with his rock-n-roll background, Brian's songs were popular with both kids and parents. He was soon asked to perform at a benefit for the local children's hospital.

Brian enlisted long-time friend and drummer, Todd Gray, to join him on stage. The two had such a good time performing, and their chemistry was so strong that they decided to team up and put together a band that performed live, energetic music with child-friendly lyrics. All they needed was a groovinâ, bass player.

A fan recommended a talented, jazz bassist by the name of Clif Swiggett. Clif auditioned and, because of his amazing musicianship and great personality, he was immediately asked to join the group. The Brian Waite Band was born!

The band has released three albums to critical acclaim. They like to perform in family concert venues and series throughout the Western United States. They also enjoy donating their time and talent to the Special Olympics of Washington. Currently, the Brian Waite Band is writing new songs and gearing up for another, fun concert season.
