It is my pleasure to recommend this recording by Hirano Shingo to you. Great songs, great singing, and what a guitar player! Please enjoy!
Brad Kelley - LA based Composer / Arranger / Conductor

The first time I saw the "stank face" I was hooked. Shingo is more than a great musician, he's got "it" -- that unmistakable quality that can't be learned, can't be taught. It goes beyond talent, beyond a pretty face. The audience wants to listen to him, watch him, over anyone else within about a ten mile radius.
The good news is, Shingo's got the talent and the chops to match.
Tony Clements - NYC based Director / Actor; former Mama Mia cast member

I first met Shingo as a student of mine in Tokyo. We spoke Japanese for the first year until one day he came up to me and said in perfect english "I lived in New Jersey for 16 years, can you listen to one of my songs?". That song was "Life" the first song on his new cd. I have had the experience numerous times on stage where I feel Hendrix or Stevie Ray there. I sometimes forget that he is only 25 years old. I am now a fan forever.
Scott Latham - Tokyo based Drummer / Producer

Shingo was born in Japan but moved to New Jersey at the age of one. He lived there until the age of 16 but was suddenly up-rooted and brought back to Japan.
This was a difficult change for him but resulted in a bilingual super guitarist / vocalist who plays far beyond is age of 25 years. His knowledge of two languages and two cultures has some amazing results in his songwriting.
Shingo was asked to be the soloist on the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra tour in 2011. Playing 40 shows around Japan in front of more than 100,000 people he has boosted his fan base immensely. He picked up a Nylon Stringed Guitar for the first time in his life and not only wowed the audience, but 60 major classical players as well. Now fresh off concerts in San Francisco and New York- Check out the cd - it speaks for itself.
