Long time Jazz Funk Guitarist Caleb Armstrong has embarked on his first solo CD entitled "An Artful Manner". With years of experience playing with many notable artist Caleb is known best for his funky guitar rhythms while performing with the Band Freedom during the late 70's and throughout the 80's. He has now completed a smooth yet comtemporary Jazz Funk CD. While a member of Freedom Caleb was a co-writer on the hit song "Get up and Dance" which was one of the most re-recorded and sampled songs in hip-hop music. Recorded by Grand Master Flash and the Furious Five and named "Freedom" after the band during the early 80's with Sugar Hill Records, also recorded by SWV for the movie Above the Rim and entitled "Anything".

Caleb Armstrong born in Mississippi spent his early years playing gospel and blues is now living in New Orleans and is a true Jazz Funkateer. This CD is loaded with smooth funky jazz riffs. After doing studio sessions for countless other artist this first solo CD by Caleb was well worth the wait.
