BEGINNER / ADVANCED BEGINNER. A QuickTime video lesson on the fundamentals of carrying the beat on the instrument using in-and-out chords. Adam Gussow of Satan and Adam describes the breathing patterns and tongued articulations required to produce an effective shuffle rhythm.
Although this particular rhythm is invaluable--and I use it myself all the time--it's not exactly a "song," the way that virtually all my other lessons are. It's simply a rhythm; a foundation. Once you get it (and it takes some practice), you've got it, and what you do with it is up to you. So I'm pricing this lesson somewhat lower than the others.
Note: An accompanying PDF tab can be purchased for $1.
Running time: 12:18
