Raised in a small South Georgia town (Moultrie) one of five boys on the wrong side of the tracks I grew up surrounded by music, mostly Gospel. While most of my buddies were busy polishing their sports skills I was busy practicing guitar and singing! For a while there thought I was Paul McCartney but Paul wasn't a redneck. As everyone knows music attracts pretty girls and what young boy with wild eyes and young lust in their heart can argue with the logic here. I knew right away music was all I ever wanted to do. Whiskey, smoke filled bar rooms, and lots of pretty young thoroughbreds for breeding. Lord already in heaven at 16. Granddaddy played the fiddle, Daddy played harmonica, Momma played guitar and the whole family sang. I remember bring expelled from school for hair being on my collar and over my ears. A little rebellion never hurt anyone. Family moved to Guymon, Oklahoma (No Man's Land) and with a guitar on my back I traded that redneck for cowboy boots. Daddy wanted college and I wanted music (little smoke and whiskey). It was a struggle but music won out over education. Been a country music lover ever since. So get something cool and enjoy some of my tunes. As Townes Van Zant once said "Music goes better with a Drink!"
