Best known for his hits, "Mr. Jones" and "Touch Me", as a recipient of Billboard's New Artist of the Year and Single of the Year Awards 1979, and a member of both the Rockabilly Hall of Fame and the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame, Big Al Downing's five decade career was a proof of his versatility in country music history.
At the time of his death on July 4th, 2005, he had a number of projects he was working on and the ALBE
Music team felt it was important to follow through and make those works available to his fans.
