I was born in London and while at Bristol University started playing in folk clubs in the West Country of England. I grew to love traditional English folk music and was fortunate enough to see many of the 1970s folk revival artists play at clubs and festivals. After college I joined The Fred Bloggs Band and toured Europe's U.S. military bases for about seven years, singing pop, rock, funk - anything I could - a great experience. We made a vinyl EP which you can sample at my website. There are also some pics of the band from the 70s.

I moved to Los Angeles in the 1980s, married, had kids and pursued a career in education. When my children were young I taught recorder at their elementary school.The songs on Nothing Between Us were written in 1990s and were inspired by the environments of England and Southern California, and the inner changes I was going through. They were recorded on my home studio. I've been selling or giving away the album since 2001 and recently decided to sign up for digital distribution so people can download single tracks. I hope you enjoy listening to some of, or all these songs on your i-pod.
