Corban consists of brothers John Swanson, Steve Swanson, and Danny Ray Swanson. Though born in Tampa, Florida, the Swanson brothers have established their music careers in Midlothian, Virginia where they currently live. Growing up listening to The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and other classic rock bands, some may say Corban was created to revive what was lost from classic rock but Corban also attributes some of it's influence to more recent bands like U2 and Coldplay. They started their journey together in the summer of 2003 when Danny Ray started to write songs. Creating their first CD in March of 2004, they were finally able to have their music played virtually everywhere. The band still regards itself as growing, but through this growth the band is shaping itself into the next big thing. Their new CD Scars was released in March of 2007 as the band hopes to further their musical career together as well as give their fans another wonderful CD to listen too.
