Donald lee Watson Jr. born in Detroit in November at the age of 10 he lost his mother the closest person in his life, he didn't know his real father into later on into his adult years.Godzpawn always had a talent and a passion for Music at age 12 he started writing and freestying rhymes music was a way to deal with the pain,it gave a sense of relief.In 1992 he moved to Los Angeles,CA to purse a career in secular music industry but didn't find a record deal.

In 1994 he moved back to his hometown Detroit to purse his own independent music.In 1996 he lost his step father the only father he knew at the time to cancer and shortly after he began to look to God to deal with his loss that same year he acknowledged Jesus Christ as his lord and savior and was baptized in Jesus name.

In 1999 he started writing gospel rap songs his first song was title "One Accord" He teamed up with David"SIRILL" Palmer a local producer who also produced "Christian Wife Material".In 2000 godzpawn started his own gospel Ministry Church Boy Recordings not only is he a gospel rapper but also a talented music producer,he is truly talented and gifted by God.

In 2004 He performed for PK entertainment for youth ministries in Detroit for charity. He also attends Detroit World Outreach in Redford,Michigan underPastor Ben Gibert and is a member of Youthpastor.com.

In 2005 he released the single "Christian Wife Material" available online at www.cdbaby.com.The long awaited album "The Invitation Project" will be available online at cdbaby.com in August 2006 as well and in various
stores.

Godzpawn is a mere tool in the hands of God through Jesus Christ."God's foot soldier".His vision is to help encourage the hip hop game to acknowledge Jesus and help usher the lost into God's Kingdom amen.
