A few words about the latest song from my work table...
The song was recorded back in 2009 (to be part of a full track album, but that didn't happen, it actually materialized out of proportion!). When this particular song didn't go as it was planned, it was put on hold/stuffed away for quite some time (2 1/2 years). The lyrics was rewritten and recorded 2012.
Now, when it comes to the overall sound of the song, I would like to call it gentle pop (not a ballad though!) with a little jazzy, acoustic feel. Something I think is great today with all computer and maximized music (with zero dynamics!).
This song is pretty much straightforward, in other words: 4/4, verse, chorus, solo kind-a-form.
The original working title was Little Honey, as the lyrics was about a boy and his love for a girl back in school... Well, you know the deal. Anyway, that title grew into the finished one: Honey (the Club of Melancholic Fools).
