Details:
The Brothers Cintron were born in Salamanca, Spain. They came to United States and began singing at an early age. They come from a long line of artists and musicians. La familia Cintron all sing, play and dance â Jaime, Rafael, Pilar, and Cristobal. They always say they did not choose music, on the contrary, music chose them! Maria Teresa Laguna Santos, their mother, was the inspiration that first called them to song. Rafael began playing guitar at the age of nine and as he matured he was coached by guitar masters such as, Mario Esqudero, Maestro Sabicas, and Emilio Prados. Cristobal began singing at the age of six and was first motivated by voice and percussion, before later picking up guitar. It is evident in their music today, that these are great artists, The Brothers Cintron, Rafael and Cristobal were born to create until their last breath. They sing with the soul of gypsies and enchant their audiences to euphoria. This CD contains various different styles and influences of Latin music - every song has an evocation of something else from Flamenco, Cuban to Brazilian. This CD totally entertains the senses, and stirs the Gypsy soul in every one who hears it. They started recording the "CAMINO" CD in April of 1999 and released the CD in March of 2000, and has become an instant classic as well as current with todayâs music.
