Brave Dragonfly is an indie music project out of Portland, Oregon with roots in a variety of modern rock and pop sounds with ideas blending the idioms and musical feels of the 70s, 80s and beyond.

The musical sounds fuse fuzzy guitar distortions, delayed guitars and ethereal synth pads together while parts of the music bend away from the traditional Rock 4/4 feel.

Brave Dragonfly's first album "Spinning" is an 8 track concept album that moves through an emotional journey of excitement, confusion, mild states of shock, as well as emotions without name.

The album's first track, "Night Frequency", kicks off the album by taking the listener through the dark and euphoric moods felt in the noise, excitement and energy of a big city at night. The music continues on to contemplate various aspects of the human experience; individual struggles, love, doubt, loneliness and companionship amongst other emotions. The final track, "Night Falls Fast", ends the album by reflecting upon the fundamental human need for love and the tendency for people to sometimes forget about that need.
