The Other Famous People is a project group - really just a bunch of friends and purveyors of sound and noise - formed to record a few docile melodies in the spare and lonely time between the summer months and the visceral warmth of the winter season. The project is spearheaded by Brendon Lund and Ryan Collier (Humble B). Additional performers and inspiration come from Justin Kruger (Keyser Soze, The Godsâ Entertainment, others) Mark Twohey (Atomika, others) Paul Zogby (Scraggly Jane, Atomika) Joe Toth (Humble B), Jason Loughmiller (Humble B, Good Question), Kyle Rothchild (The Godsâ Entertainment, Tony Clifton and the Cliftones, alloneword) and a number of others that will remain nameless. It was a brief flood of upward energy brought on from the composition and subsequent recording of a few demo tracks that led to the swift key command creation of a giant, pink computer based sticky note that took the role of producer in the making of this short, yet, interesting (well, at least we think it's interesting) record. There are few words that truly beg to describe the feeling one gets listening, loudly, through headphones, or in proper equilateral position for interpreting stereophonic sound, to this recording while watching the evening news. Perhaps it is better suited for film or silent transcription to staff paper. Nonetheless, we think you might enjoy listening. We are sure to make another with many of the same people and more.
