Poplord hails from somewhere around Fresno, California. Its members have been working together in various projects (original and cover) for several years, including a locally popular Beatles tribute band. Drawing from classic influences of the pop gods (Beatles, Kinks, Beach Boys, and of course, Disco Tex), the band creates catchy yet stimulating pop confections that will touch your pop soul, if you've got one (many people don't, accounting for the success of much of the dross that currently inhabits the commercial radio waves). The band's name pretty much says it all. Poplord. They are the Lords of Pop. When you hear Poplord's music, we think you'll agree.
