Prince. Ademola OluwaObafolahanmi Gbadebo, popularly, known by different people as Pastor âDâ, Pastor-Demo, Ademola-Oba, Pastor-Prince or kabiyesi. was born in Ibadan, Western Nigeria, on, Tuesday, the 16th of January, 1962.
To Late. Madam Odunola Alatede âNee Ladapo (a.k.a .Ajani-Faari, meaning Ajani-Fashion)â and to, the Late Oba-elect, Prince: A..T. Gbadebo of Igbajo. Oshun State; Nigeria. Ademolaâs début in singing came in December 1971 at the Alafia Institute Churchâs Ogboja Hall where the Headmaster/Music Director Rev. Ogunmefun made him to sing solo âlove came down at Christmas.â and âFrom out of a wood did a coo coo fly coo coo!â both in one service.
Ademolaâs connection to his Late Grandmother Madam Janet Alatede Aboderin exposed him to a branch of the first Christian family in the City of Ibadan. Madam Alatede Aboderin took him for, the first time to St Davidâs Cathedral Kudeti, the oldest Church in the city of Ibadan to be baptized with the name Oluwaobafolahanmi meaning God the King has revealed His Honor and Glory to me,i.e.An Evidence of GOD. Ademola is a Lad of uncommon ability. He is an orator with a very unique Call, from been brought up in various combination of events in, the Muslim, Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Charismatic, Apostolic, and Pentecostal, background.
A born Comedian in his own right Ademola was fond of making impressions of his Grandmother while she chanted rhymes Raara, a Yoruba prose in Praise of, the Lord, or for any specific purpose. This however, triggered off a peculiar talent out of him. He began to chant rhymes Raara, since age three. By the time he turned seven with the help of his Late Mother Alhaja: Odunola he was already running Commentary on Raara, Ewi, Ijala, Oriki and Orile. In 1974, at age At age twelve, Ademola composed his first funny song in Yoruba classic âSulola lo jerangbe ko jale o.â In 1981 Ademola composed his first Prophetic Song âOjo-Mannaâ at Celestial Church of Christ Oyo, Nigeria. Ademola had served in various Choirs, like
In Touch Choir; He was a Tenor, and one of the âThree Men in White Robes.â at the 1997 Atlanta Passion Play choral cast. An annual Easter Pageant of the First Baptist Atlanta that attracts half a million People at the Atlanta Civic Center. He and his wife Beatrice are serving presently in their Church Choir. He had sung in the Celestial Church of Christ Choir Yemetu, Ibadan and Oyo. C.A.C Bethel, a member of Praise team and Director of Evangelism at Emmanuel Bible Church in Stockbridge G.A. and I.T.C. Choirs.He is a Church Planter and, Ordained-Priest since 1981 received his Bachelor Arts in Christian Religious Studies from Lagos State University in Nigeria. While in school, he was the first executive President of CHRISTO-L.A.S.U. He, Pastored the Zion Fellowship in his house for one year. Ademola is presently an Inquirer with the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. and a Seminarian of Johnson C. Smith at the Interdenominational Theological Center. (I.T.C.) Atlanta G.A.
