Every so often a band comes along with a certain uniqueness that grabs you and never lets go from the first time you hear them. Each song of Sol Tribeâs represents a wealth of rock music styles with influences from bands such as Tool, Metallica, Down, Nine Inch Nails, System of a Down, Cold, and Marilyn Manson. This diversity has instinctively allowed Sol Tribe to connect many genres of music, thereby shaping and molding it into something of their own making. Sol Tribeâs self released album, âSometimes It Hurtsâ was recorded at Montana Studios in Richmond, Virginia, produced and engineered by Grant Rutledge and Sol Tribe. On July 1, 2003, Sol Tribe signed a recording contract with Jetspeed Records out of Hollywood, California. In mid August, Sol Tribe traveled to the west coast to record their debut album âIX DIVINE TRAGEDIESâ for Jetspeed Records, which was released on July 1st, 2004. Music from âIX Divine Tragediesâ was featured on SPIKE TV/MTV Productions reality show â10 THINGS EVERY GUY SHOULD EXPERIENCEâ premiering February 2, 2004.
