Billy has written and played in many different musical genres. His songs have been covered by Dionne Warwick, Janis Siegel of the Manhattan Transfer, Marlena Shaw and others. He has written songs in two films starring Rodney Dangerfield; Rover Dangerfield and The Fourth Tenor.
Spirits of the Canyon is in the New Age style.
