The Two Micks,(Mike Rider and Mick Lynch), are both third generation Irishman poets from Chicago and New York. The Chick â Andrea Bond, well theyâre not positive where sheâs from. Belfast probably. Andrea's classically trained.
Before they all got together, Mike was performing Shakespeare and playing in Irish bars, while Mick was singing ballads and fiddling around at the Café Aroma. Thatâs where they met.
One day this gorgeous opera singer appeared.âIâm searching for a music that will be more meaningful", she insisted. "Music that will inspire my listeners. I want to be more earthyâ.
("She wept she cried she tore her hair. Ah me what could I do".)
Now being the gallant gentleman that they were, the two Micks decided to form a trio, right then and there. Strictly on the up and up mind you. And the rest is history.
"Irish music from heaven", thatâs what they keep saying about them. And â well -- youâll just have to see for yourself.
