Wannitta Del Valle was born in Chicago November 23, 1988 on thanksgiving of that year. Wannitta was only seven months in her motherâs womb and only weigh 3 lbs when the doctors told her mother (Jeannette) the child she bears would not live. Jeannette knowing she had to do something to save her child; she called her mom (Maria) and told her everything what the doctors have told her and she asked her mom to pray for the baby. Maria and Juan knew Wannitta had a calling from God, so prayed and fasted for the life of there granddaughter. Jeannette belly grew each day. Jeannette told her mom that when the baby is born she would give her the child to take care of and raise Wannitta as there own. Jeannette knew God had a plan for Wannitta and that he was going to use her in a tremendous way. Jeannette also knew that Wannitta was different among other young ladies. Jeannette gave birth to a healthy 9 lb baby. Wannitta was raised by her two loving Grandparents Maria and Juan Del Valle. Wannitta was also raised in a Christian environment.
God has given Wannitta the talent to sing as well as to play the piano. Wannitta always sang since she was little. It wasnât till June of 2004, which was Wannittaâs 8th grade graduation, Pastor Fernando from Chicago Victory Church heard her sing, and at that moment he knew she had a gift and that God was using her. God opened the door for Wannitta. Since then God has blessed Wannitta with the opportunity of recording this CD Lift Up My Voice. Till this day Wannitta lives each day in love with her Lord and savior Jesus Christ and sheâs also thankful for his mercy and grace.
