There is truth in this statement, especially since all the members from the other strongest contender for the best band from 41st street in Miami Beach, ENEMY AGAINST ENEMY, has been in The BJ Experience at various stages in their career (or lack of one).

Arguably one of the most influential groups in the static Miami scene, The BJ Experience are probably one of the only true punk bands too...without even trying!!

They've helped raise thousands for charities, performed at high-brow dinner events, released over half-dozen albums, filmed and produced their own documentary True Untold Story and currently starring in the sitcom ALL MY BJ which blurs reality and the surreal world of sitcom in a funny yet introspective style.
