Stand up comedian Bobaloo performs stand up comedy in his first live performance film, covering topics ranging from American Idol to pot, gay pride to getting older, plus some great dirt about his ex lovers.
14 MP3 Songs
SPOKEN WORD: Comedy
Details:
Bobaloo started his stand up comedy career in Los Angeles, California when he got a flyer for a stand up comedy class in the mail and thought it was worth checking out. It was the key that unlocked his comedic mind and made him realize that this is what he wanted to do for the rest of his life. They don't teach you that in no fancy college!
Born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Bobaloo got his taste for the spotlight while working as an overnight jock on his local top 40 radio station. After two years of being a night owl, he set sail to Los Angeles to find himself and pursue opportunities that he could not find in the Midwest.
Bobaloo started with the open mic circuit, and quickly latched onto co-producing Out For Laughs, a weekly Gay & Lesbian comedy show in North Hollywood. From there, it was a constant stream of rooms and gigs to help develop his comedic skills. He took first prize of "Queer Eye For The Funny Guy" in Dayton, Ohio, and was a finalist in two years of the Gay Mafia's Los Angeles GLBT comedy competition.
Bobaloo's major influences include Bill Cosby, Eddie Izzard, Eddie Murphy, and Margaret Cho.
Bobaloo's FULL RELEASE is a 5 year labor of love, putting his not-your-average-gay spin on life and making his sexuality very matter-of-fact.
