Bräck âThe name may sound a bit familiar, especially if youʼre a fan of racing, as the lead guitar player is none other than Indy 500 Winner and racing legend Kenny Brack. Holding down the lead vocal is singer/ songwriter Franc Aledia. When these two got together, it was an instant musical connection and Bräck was born.

Swedish born, currently Belgium-based racecar driver Kenny Brack was the IndyCar Champ of 1998 and winner of 1999ʼs Indianapolis 500. His new material is infused with an early love for the bluesy rock and roll of Chuck Berry combined with an affection for punk bands including The Ramones, The Clash and even Green Day. While Francʼs influences stem from bands like Hoobastank, Jimmy Eat World and All American Rejects, the strength of his melodies and unique voice make BräckÊ»s sound its own. Bräck is a radio-ready modern rock force to be reckoned with. Kennyʼs former band Kenny Brack and the Subwoofers toured the US opening for artists including The
Doobie Brothers, Leann Rimes and 3 Doors Down. He also had the chance to sit in with the Paul Shaffer Orchestra on The Late Show with David Letterman and performed alongside such luminaries as Ed King (writer of âSweet Home Alabamaâ), Michael Anthony (Van Halen) and Howie D (Back Street Boys).
Francʼs former bands have won the Central Ohio Music Awards âPeopleʼs Choice Awardâ shared stages with musical greats including Maroon 5, Bowling for Soup, Fuel, 7 Mary 3, Living Color among others, and amassing sponsorships from Jägermeister and Jim Beam along the way. Bräck release date is May 6th- the first day Indy opens for trials leading up to the Indy 500 May 27th. The band shot the first-ever music video from the speedway directed by Allen Farst and will air in heavy rotation on the jumbotrons at the Speedway. The first Single off the CD is âLegend of the Speedwayâ a tribute to A.J. Foyt and his celebration for this years 50th anniversary at the Speedway.
