Capade is a Vancouver based quartet whose thick sound is centered around the acoustic guitar accompanied by piano based rock. Their songs are strong, melody driven with memorable lyrics.

Megan Turnbull of the Ubyssey Magazine says that Capade is: "Catchy and uplifting, full of energy, enthusiasm and passion".

The new album WAKE ME UP is just that. Capadeâs unique sound will resonate well with audiences across North America.

Nikola Tucakov is the lead singer and writer of Capade. He was born in Belgrade, Serbia and raised in the mountains of Turkey. Jeff Scharf, originally from Ottawa, on the electric guitar brings his Motown melody in a traditional funk Rhythm style. Other band members are Ali Siadat is on the drums and David Spidel on bass guitar.

In 2005 Nikola released his independent album titled Kuliyana that got nation wide college radio airplay. The music video Ribedaba was featured on MuchMusic.

On the new album Nikola worked with the acclaimed folk singer Jeremy Fisher who performed background vocals. To support the release of this album, Nikola will spend 3 months touring across Canada at the end of Summer 2007.
