We give our God all of the praise for affording us the opportunity to release our sophomore project entitled âMy Grace is Sufficient for Youâ.

It is our sincere prayer that this project will aid you in your Christian walk and assure you that whatever may be happening in your life that Godâs grace is truly sufficient enough to sustain you. We know that you will be blessed by our music ministry. All of the songs on this project were inspired by the Holy Spirit and composed by our Music Director, Samuel R. Robinson. Additionally, he single-handedly programmed all of the instrumental tracks for this effort using his Korg Triton Workstation. The instrumentation includes: various keyboard sounds, brass, horns, strings, flutes, organs, percussions, woodwinds and harp.


Committed was formed in 2001 with original members: Tony Walker, Jeffrey Patrick, and Curtis Perry. In 2002, God gave Bro. Tony Walker a vision to expand the group and help carry out âthe Great Commission.â He called upon all of his friends resulting in the formation of âCommittedâ. After months of singing under this title we realized that there was another national group bearing the same name; group members unanimously agreed to change its name to Committed II Praise.

We have dedicated ourselves to carrying out âthe Great Commissionâ. We believe that each Christian has an obligation to do so. While some may be called to preach the word of God, we use our talent to proclaim the Word of the Lord through psalms, hymns and inspired songs.

Since of August of 2002, God has truly blessed our group with opportunities to witness including: opening for The Williams Brothers, Big Prophet and Eric Matthews. We have also been blessed to be one of the featured acts for Sisters in the Spirit and many metropolitan Birmingham and Alabama State Area musical venues. We were also the featured artists for the 50th Anniversary of the Historic Montgomery Bus Boycott commemoration and the Inauguration Ceremony of the Mayor of Fairfield, AL.

As you can see, God has been busy providing a way for His Saints to proclaim the âGood Newsâ. We ask for your continued prayers and support as we strive to answer our calling.

Altos: Natasha Burton, Alexis Cade, Sherita Coachman, Paula Murray and Tanyeka Bishop

Tenors: Tony Walker, Curtis Perry, Jeffrey Patrick, Samuel R. Robinson and Tim Sanders.

Committed is an ecumenically diverse group consisting of members from various Christian traditional and non-denominational worshiping congregations from the cities of Birmingham, Dolomite, Fairfield and Brighton. We are members of the following congregations: First Baptist Church Fairfield, More Than Conquerors, New Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church, Ephesus Seventh Day Adventist Church, New Pilgrim Baptist Church, and St. Maryâs Catholic Church.

To God be the glory for all of the things that He has done. We pray that this effort will bless, inspire and aid you in developing a deeper relationship with God through Christ Jesus.
