ROCK: Modern Rock, POP: New Wave

WARNING: The Surgeon General warns that this CD contains addictive material. Side affects include a desire to listen to it over and over at high volumes which may lead to hearing damage and a lack of productivity.
Thatâs right, the little guy has his âDanderâ up!!!
Cockroach Dander is the product of a former punk bass player finally given the freedom to bash on more than 4 strings and not just instruments; Hawks, Hippies, and the richâ¦â¦no one is left unscathed.
Itâs not punk, but it is a rumbling P-bass, crunchy rhythm guitars, a steady beat and the odd wailing guitar riff backing up the message. It is edgy modern rock with a dose of 80âs post-punk and a smattering of Canuck lefty cynicism!?!?!
Comments from a couple of friends who encouraged us to go public with this CD:
âThe album is so fun to listen to. When I first hear music, I donât hear lyricsâ¦I just donât care apparentlyâ¦.itâs the melody, the tune, the hook that matter to meâ¦
Now, Iâm beginning to listen to wordsâ¦â¦.clever.
â¦.it was a worthy spend of my money. Itâs an album Iâd keep in my car along with the other 20 that I listen to regularlyâ¦which is sad when you think of it because I must have over 500 CDsâ¦
Thanks man,
Iâm seriously digging it.
Bryanâ
âYour probably not going to believe this but I have been listening to this piece of s*t for 2 trips to Nâ¦â¦, and I cant find any (tracks) that I donât like. Seriously, I only gave it a cursory listen when you gave it to me, but being forced to pick some songs as the best has forced me to give it another listen, and the dam thing grows on you(I had asked for opinions on which songs to enter in a contest). This will have to be known as your period of Angst . Who the f do you think you are, Bob Dillan(Dylan?)? I guess you have to write for something if your not writing for the moneyâ¦.That could be a song!.
-Are They Coming? â Love the lyrics â â¦
-Too Poor (Revisited) Your mixing is getting much better ââ¦
-Whereâs your superman now? _ I did not like this one at first because is challenges my religious convictions. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. Powerful â If you canât defend a challenge, you werenât in it in the first placeâ¦.
-Big Old Moon â I love this one (probably because of the acoustic which is near and dear to my heart.)
-Somebody Save us â I really like the premise but the lead solo absolutely sucks!!
-Itâs Rainin â I Love this one too! Lonely love songs sell records.
-James Blonde â â¦like the first verse and the production, but I think youâ¦got him mired in the Canadiana...
Like I said â This thing grew on me â I will keep it in my truck and listen too it out of choiceâ¦
Excellent job-Good Luck,
Danâ
Gotta guitar, gottanâ amp, gotta bass and I gotta
lamp,
And he never talks, I gotta drummer in a boxâ¦â¦..
And a giant grain of salt !!!!!!
