I started writing songs when I was 15 years old. I clearly remember my first two. The first one was just an A minor chord over and over and over and the words went like, "I can't sleep." I called it insomnia. The second song was just as bad, it was G to D minor and it was something about Earth, Wind, Water and Fire and how we should all try and save the trees.

So now almost 20 years later, I am still writing songs like these. They may have gotten a little bit better but I am not so sure that's the point.

Southern Slow Dance is a collection of mostly acoustic songs that I feel go together nicely. Hope you pick up a copy and enjoy the music.
