In the brief transition period as a 3-piece back to four, Alex, Rob & Justin of Downshallow crafted a handful of acoustic songs showcasing an array of influences from Spanish style guitar and jazz to 60's pop and film scores.

Four of these songs found themselves on
Good Friend Electric, a glimpse at a rock band with more to offer than just another simple rock song.

Written, recorded & mixed over the course of a year, Good Friend Electric also includes two bonus tracks recorded live for a radio broadcast in 2005.

"Security Blanket", originally intended as the 13th track on Downshallow's 'So Many Wants, So Little Compromise', debut album, appears here in acoustic form, as does "Get Off", a hard rocker stripped of it's brawn and injected
with it's own flavor of tang.
