AUSTRALIAN AND BLOODY PROUD OF IT ...............

We are an Australian band based in Cairns in far north tropical Queensland, made up of Terry Doyle and my nineteen year old son Jake.

For 2005 and 2006 we held a three night a week residency at Johno's Blues Bar in Cairns and this album was recorded in late 2005 live at the infamous venue. It's just Jake and I both on guitar and both singing with me stompimg on my old guitar case with a microphone in it.

All songs except track 3 were written by us and that track 'Christmas in Queensland' was written by our good mate Keiran McCarthy of Airlie Beach.

I always try to make our gigs casual affairs as if we are at home with a few friends sitting around with a few beers and having input from all those sitting around with us, and we have had comments to the that fact said to us on many occasions.

At Johno's Blues Bar gig we would have up to twenty different nationalities sitting listening to us each night as Cairns is a must see tourist destination.......... so that was always pretty special.
