A live recording of old-school, bourbon-drinkin', hurtin' country songs with a splash of bluegrass a pinch of rockabilly, simmered in soul.
16 MP3 Songs
COUNTRY: Western, FOLK: Folk Blues
Details:
THE DONE ME WRONGS were born in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, in the summer of 2004. It all began as an innocent, bourbon-soaked, country-kitchen-jamboree that eventually gave rise to sixteen train-riding, breakinâ-up-in-pick-up-trucks, santa-claus-ainât-cominâ-to-town songs that were looking to find their way into the world. Thus DONE ME LIVE came kicking and howling its way into being.
The founding members of THE DONE ME WRONGS (Bill Bridges, Karen Graves, Cam Macduffee and Nicole Underhay) met while working at The Shaw Festival - Canadaâs best and brightest theatre festival. In a dingy little bar in the basement of The Royal George Theatre (affectionately dubbed âThe Georgeâ) on October 24th, 2006, we surrounded ourselves with musical ringers from all over southern Ontario and invited 150 or so of our closest friends to come join us in making music magic. We decided on a live recording just to keep the stakes high.
Let the magic into your home. $15 bucks. 16 songs. Itâll do you right.
