INTRODUCING THE DROPTOPS!

The future of the Rockabilly Scene is in good hands if this latest Wild Hare records release is a good indicator. The Droptops are a three piece band from Rockville, Maryland. They have been performing the local club and car show scene for a few years and recently caught the ear and eye of Wild Hare owner, David Moore.

The word unique is widely over used, but is a good beginning term for this band. They truly sound like no other band out there today. Lead singer Johnny Bozarth, is remarkably similar to Jimmy Bowen in tone and accentuation. Johnny sings and plays upright bass, Elizabeth plays a big ole Gretsch guitar fusing styles of may of the greats (Carl Perkins, Cliff Gallop etc.) but is her own person and stylist. Christine anchors the trio with solid, yet tastefully played, sparse drum kit. All three are great composers.

The CD contains 10 self written songs and is packaged in a printed cardboard folder and retails for $5.00 each. This marketing plan is devised to make the CD affordable to club goers in the US. It is an exceptional value for 10 songs recorded and produced in an all analog, all vintage studio, with high quality graphics.
