âElvis Nagel and Smithâ are a team of three songwriters/musicians and recording artists. After pursuing performing careers for the past 20 years or so, they now spend most of their time at "River Rock Recording" in Clackamas, Oregon. âElvis Nagel and Smithâ write songs about their jobs, neighborhoods, life experiences and some are just for fun. To squeeze their style into a category, it would be Adult Contemporary Country/Rock Mix.

Elvis Nagel is the main singer and is also a fun entertainer. Elvis co-writes many of the songs on the new âElvis Nagel and Smithâ release, "Lost in Nashville". Artists which have been an influence on Elvis include Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Elvis Presley, Gene Krupa and the Funk Brothers.

Tom Smith is an excellent guitar player and a very creative writer. Tom wrote many of the songs on âLost in Nashville". With his Southern California roots, his influences include Love, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, and of course the Beatles, Eagles and Stones.

Phil Smith plays many of the instruments for âElvis Nagel and Smithâ. In fact, Phil plays most of the instruments on âLost in Nashville". You can hear flavors of his favorite artists such as Dire Straits, Fleetwood Mac, Carlos Santana, Billy Gibbons and Don Henley as you browse the new CD. Phil has opened shows for Pat Benatar, Blue Oyster Cult, Rory Gallagher and other established acts. Phil also co-wrote "Don't Stop Now", recorded by Vanilla Fudge, which is on the album "Mystery" on the Atco label. (Available on Amazon.com)
