Brook's original themes start from the heart, take wing through personal transformation, move out through their connection with the natural world, and on into empowered action. His song "Enough!" has been featured on Russ Jennings' segment on "Across the Great Divide" on KPFA, Pacifica Radio.

Brook has worked with roots greats Bo Diddley and Chuck Berry and he has supported and played with numerous national and local musicians in just about every American musical genre from folk and blues through jazz, swing, rock, funk, soul, bluegrass and country: Anne Hill, Linda Hirschhorn, Mokai, T. Thorn Coyle, Laurie Lewis, Bruce Langhorn, and Michaelle Goerlitz. Brook also has deep roots in movements for peace, justice, and to protect the environment. He has worked with many groups internationally as a facilitator and consensus trainer.
