The legendary San Francisco rockers return with their long-awaited third album âCapital Plansâ released on âActually, Records.â. Combining indie-pop, slowcore and noise to create beautifully textured post-rock pop, EE redefines the indie rock status quo with their new sonic masterpiece.

Ask any of the four members in the San Francisco-based band, Ee, to describe their music and you'll end up with four different responses, each emphasizing one aspect of the groupâs collective aesthetic. This is because Ee's membership is wound with the tension of four diverse musical passions: ex-Korea Girl frontman Tobin Mori (guitar/vocals), Che Chou (bass), Peter Nguyen (drums) and finally, ex-Seam frontman Sooyoung Park (guitars).

Eeâs new album, âCapital Plansâ began as a series of disparate recording sessions immediately following 2003âs âFor 100 We Try Harderâ. Displeased with their initial attempts at home recordings, the band jettisoned them and slowly began to re-record and fine tune the songs in and out of the studio. Two of the album's highlights are the title-track "Capital Plans," a sweeping indie-pop mini-epic, and âStevenâs Song,â a melancholic lament dedicated to a close friend of the band who recently lost his life to cancer. With the addition of songs like "Summer Skool," "Lost Angeles," "Outro," and "1 Horse Town", âCapital Plansâ is proof again that Ee are masters of indie-pop craft.
