To Whom It May Concern:

Prior to forming Family Junction, we were childhood friends. After releasing our first album and going on a handful of small tours, it came to our attention that many of the friends weâve remained close with over the years are musicians, sharing in the same pursuit of music and art. We have decided to share our friends with our fans, our fans with our friends, in an attempt to expose as many people as possible to the music and musicians whom we respect, admire and are fortunate enough to call family friends.

While trying to figure out how this Family Junction album was going to come together and what we wanted to do with it, we were forced to confront the current status of not only the music industry, but also how we interact, communicate, and express ourselves. We found that on many fronts, creativity, inspiration and new ideas have been stifled by the reluctance to risk venturing into the unknown; this is where the idea for FamJam's Music-Stache was born.

All proceeds from the digital sale of this album will be donated to a music related cause.

1. Kosher Salsa - Bajuco
Formed in the Fall of 2003, Bajuco is a 'world-jazz' quartet. Functioning as a composer's collective, the following Boston-based musicians comprise this quirky ensemble: Todd Marston (accordion/melodica), Tev Stevig (guitar/tambura), Jordan Scannella (upright bass),

2. The French Revolution - Alan Cohen Experience
A product of Alan Cohen's experience roaming the world
seeking the explanation as to what makes it spin, physically and metaphysically. Rooted deep in the chronological and emotional ups and downs of the infamous fifth French Revolution, this song is taken from the Revolutions album, which focuses on revolutions, revolutionaries and all those things that revolve around the sun. 8. Do You Believe in Saturday - Steve Mossbery
Boston-based pianist/singer/songwriter Steve Mossberg likes to take in all kinds of music from jazz and rock, to hip-hop, to 20th century Russian composers, and let them simmer in his cranial kitchen. He then spits out slow-cooked tunes which don't sound particularly like any of the above. He wants to be real, fresh and fun, and when these come together, you get the Mossberg sound.

Originally from Philadelphia, Wisnia fell in love with Bossa Nova early on, and from there, all things Brazil. After moving to New York to try his hand at music,Wisnia quickly enlisted an eclectic roster of friends and local musicians
to help him realize the stuff in his head.

Shawn Fogel started playing piano at the age of ten. As he got older he learned more and more instruments so that he could one day record his own one-man-band. Shawn has the ability to incorporate a wide range of influences into his own personal style.
