First impressions are of the utmost importance. The members of the St. Louis pop/rock quintet, Fairwell, intend to leave listeners with not only an amazing first impression, but a long-lasting love affair. They were founded as a 4 piece by members Jon Paider on vocals and guitar, Brandon Armour on guitar, and Phill Grooms on bass and vocals. The band later progressed by adding Matt Stuertz on drums and Dan Breuer on guitar.

All members hail from previously successful bands, and put their souls into the music they make as if it were their home. The unstoppable, harmony-based rock that is Fairwell appeals to fans of many genres by topping off their sound with a very healthy dose of pop sensibility.

They just recorded a self-titled five track EP with engineer and producer Jason McEntire (Ludo, Adair, So They Say) at Sonic Temple Studios in Union, Missouri. The album was then mastered by West West Side Music, who has also mastered albums by artists such as Fall Out Boy, Thrice, Ben Folds Five, and Saves the Day. With the independent release of December 22nd, they plan to tour the US in support of it and spread a positive message of hope through their music. So keep an eye out and an ear to the ground.
