Geoffrey Gee makes music in the moment for the moment. Every performance is unique--a structured, spontaneous response to the time and place of his playing. His fluency in a wide range of styles and his willingness to be open in the present draw listeners into his creative process. Whether playing for a large concert audience, an intimate club crowd, or students in a classroom, this kinetic performer offers a memorable experience of music-making that inspires listeners to make their own.

His playing has won the attention and praise of such notable pianists as Patrick Moraz (Yes, Moody Blues) and Lyle Mays (Pat Metheny Group). His solo appearances include major concerts at Harvard University, Berklee College of Music, and Scullers Jazz Club in Boston. As a side musician and soloist, he has appeared at venues throughout the United States as well as in France, Germany, and South Korea. Mr. Gee has released four albums as a leader and has performed on numerous additional recordings.

For many years, Gee worked for Kurzweil Music Systems designing sounds for their acclaimed professional synthesizers and digital pianos. He remains an independent contractor in sound design and commercial music production for companies such as Synthogy and Sonivox.

As an educator, he has held a variety of faculty positions ranging from Assitant Professor of Music Synthesis at Berklee College of Music to choir director in public school. He currently teaches piano and music theory privately, and serves as a teaching artist with the Center for Arts and Education in New York State.

His current artistic project combines aspects of all these disciplines to produce never-before-heard sounds, instruments, and music.
