GREYSKULL are a three-piece Texas Punk-Rock band from Dallas, who have been spreading their infectious sound to the Texas punk scene since Chris Smyers and Brad Bevill started the band in 2002. Rooted in melodic punk rock and old renegade country, GREYSKULL are influenced by the great bands and artists before them like Social Distortion, Bad Religion, Chris LeDoux, Ramones and Jerry Jeff Walker.

With the addition of Robbie Estill on drums, GREYSKULL recorded their first EP in the fall of 2002. âBetter Off Deadâ is five raw, punk rock songs chock-full of energy and potential. GREYSKULL followed up âBetter Off Deadâ with their first full-length album, âState of Ruckusâ, and put it out themselves in the summer of 2004. The full-length is made up of GREYSKULLâs catchy choruses and powerful guitar rifts.

In January of 2007, GREYSKULL released a brand new EP, âPretty in Ink.â Although their sound has matured, the band continues to write simple, straight forward songs with tons of energy which include the one thing all punk songs have in common, a message. "Weâre all getting older now and have a completely different perspective on life than we did when we started writing our first songs six years ago. I think we all have a lot to say as far as life experiences and opinions, whether it be about politics, the struggles of life or religion," says Chris. âPretty in Inkâ touches on a range of controversies â from corporate greed (âElevator Friends, Hallway Enemiesâ) to profiteering (âSick of Itâ) to watching your life fade away (âItâs Timeâ). But true to GREYSKULLâs style, these songs also give the listener a sense of empowerment and hope. The title track âPretty in Inkâ is sure to have you singing along, while âTexas Songâ will have you two-stepping in your Chucks.

GREYSKULL are establishing themselves as one of the classic punk rock bands which continues to do what they started out doing, writing and playing music theyâd listen to while avoiding getting caught up in the trends of todayâs music scene.
